The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP Senators caucus on Thursday constituted an expanded Committee to resolve crisis confronting the party that has left it in tatters.
The caucus which is led by the Senate Minority leader and Senator representing Benue South Senatorial District, Abba Moro set up the Committee during a closed door meeting of lawmakers in the upper legislative chamber after an over three hours discussion.
Briefing journalists after the meeting, Moro said, the party recognises its crisis due to grievances of some members, hence, the Committee which comprised of former governors on PDP platform and other notable leaders of the party have been constituted, and empowered to interface with aggrieved members.
Names of panelists were not revealed immediately, but CAPITAL POST recalled that crisis currently hitting the party preceded this session.
