Yahoo Ritual Killing of Miss Eleojo Salome: Ajaka condoles family, seeks justice

The former Kogi State Governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party, SDP, Murtala Yakubu Ajaka has condoled the family of late Miss Eleojo Salome Adaidu, a National Youth Corps member serving in Nasarawa State who was killed by a gospel singer turned Yahoo boy for ritual.

The ritualist, Timileyin Ajayi who was caught with dismembered body of Miss Eleojo Salome Adaidu has since confessed to committing the crime to the security agents handling the matter.

In a heartfelt message sent to CAPITAL POST in Abuja on Monday, Ajaka vowed to pursue justice for the family of Adaidu, describing the killing of the female youngster as brutal and dastardly in guise of making evil money.

“In a heartfelt demonstration of compassion, Hon. Murtala Yakubu Ajaka paid a solemn visit to the family of late Miss Salome, who tragically lost her life in a brutal act of violence allegedly perpetrated by Timileyin Ajayi.

“During the visit, Hon Yakubu. Ajaka expressed his deepest condolences to the grieving family and reassured them of his commitment to seeking justice for their loss. According to him; “This is not just a crime against Salome. It is an affront to humanity and justice. I will ensure that this case is pursued to its logical conclusion all will be sponsored by me,” he stated.

“Barr. Aruwa Enejo SAN, who accompanied Murtala Ajaka to condole with the bereaved family, has been contacted to handle the matter to ensure justice is pursued to its end.”
