“We had sexual encounter in night, followed by another two rounds early morning then, he died”, Lover explains death of Police Inspector

Detained female lover, Maryam Abba has explained the circumstances surrounding the death of Inspector Lawal Ibrahim who died in Abuja Hotel after night time with the lady he invited from Dutse, capital of Jigawa State.

After the death of Police officer on Wednesday, she was arrested upon the invitation of police by the management of the hotel, Palassa Guest Inn in Gwagwalada Area Council in the Federal Capital Territory.

The lover revealed in her statement to the Police that late Inspector Ibrahim who was assigned to the Kwali Division, met her online and they both engaged in conversation before inviting hrr from Jigawa.
She confessed that they had sex in hotel, saying: “We had sexual encounter in the night, followed by another two rounds in the early morning before he died”.
Records in the hotel showed that the late Inspector on Wednesday checked into a hotel with Maryam Abba after invited from from Jigawa.
Maryam added, “After the second round, I noticed his breathing became irregular and stopped abruptly. I sprinkled water on him to revive him but it was to no avail.”
At that point, she reportedly alerted the hotel manager, Danlami Palasa, who contacted the police.
The police arrived at the scene and moved him to the University of Abuja Teaching Hospital, where he was pronounced death. His remains were deposited at the hospital’s morgue.
A police officer at the Gwagwalada division confirmed the incident on condition of anonymity. “The lady has been arrested for questioning,” he added.
Despite multiple calls and a text message seeking her comment, SP Josephine Adeh, the spokesperson for the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command, did not respond.
