University of Ibadan: Thousands of UTME, direct entry applicants may miss admissions
The University of Ibadan has opened its portal for the 2024/2025 admission exercise amid applicants to the school still awaiting the West African Examinations Council WAEC and the National Examinations Council, NECO to release their GCE results.
The delay in the release of results also affected those who applied for direct entry to the school, hence, applicants upon learning of the opening admission portal became apprehensive.
Parts of the requirements for the post UTME published by the university, include the recent SSCE / NECO results Which the West African Examination Council (WAEC), has not released the results after two months when the examination was conducted.
The university authority has however, gave July 29 to August 31, 2024 for applicants to fill in their Post UTME / Direct entry into the university.
