Gambo said the destruction caused is estimated at over N3 million and the incident has been reported to the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Dorayi Babba who has personally visited the scene on sight seeing.

The statement also said formal complaints have been lodged at the Police over threats to lives and properties of the religious members.

The statement partly read: “On 2/8/2022 we were also attacked during our program at the Husainiyya by some youths, they used swords and other weapons, injured five of our members including one with fracture on the leg, they also burnt down our Toyota Corolla LE car, the court case is still ongoing.”
