Saraki speaks on Buhari’s new Chief of Staff
Former Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki says the appointment of Professor Ibrahim Agboola Gambari as the new Chief of Staff to President Muhammadu Buhari was good for the country.
In a statement made available to CAPITAL POST on Wednesday, Saraki described Gambari as a diplomat with requisite capacity to serve in the office of CoS.
Saraki said: “I congratulate Prof. Ibrahim Agboola Gambari on his appointment as Chief of Staff to President Muhammadu Buhari.
“Prof. Gambari is a decent man, a cerebral academic, disciplined diplomat and he is coming in with the necessary pedigree that will help him do well on the job.
“I have no doubt that he will succeed in this onerous assignment. I urge all Nigerians to give him all the support that he needs to perform in office.
The former Senate President of the 8th National Assembly was also a former governor of Kwara State for eight years.
