#RevolutionNow: Bakare, others arrested for protesting
Nigeria’s secret police has arrested and whisked away Mr. Olawale Bakare and others on Wednesday in Osogbo, Osun State.
The DSS arrested them and other members of #RevolutionNow who were protesting.
Their arrest was in coordination with the reported arrest of 40 others arrested at the Transcorp Hilton in Abuja by Military personnel.
Bakare, alongside several others had converged at the Chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists located in Olaiya, Osogbo, to address a Press conference, when the Department of State Services stormed the venue and whisked them away
The leadership of the chapel had invited them into the premises when armed DSS officials swooped in and arrested them.
Those arrested in Osogbo include Olawale Bakare, a leader and.six others and were said to have been moved to an unknown location, according to reports made available to CAPITAL POST.
