Ortom salutes Amb. Ukume at 82
Governor Samuel Ortom, on behalf of his family, the Government and people of Benue State, felicitates with the elder statesman, Ambassador Dennis Ukume on his 82nd birthday.
The Governor described Ambassador Ukume as an astute politician and eminent son of Benue who has lived an eventful life and has made outstanding accomplishments for the benefit of humanity.
In a.statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Terve Akase and made to CAPITAL POST on Saturday, he urged the diplomat to continue his good works in the interest of humanity, adding that the younger generations were waiting to benefit from his wealth of experience.
“The former Nigeria’s Ambassador to Cote d’Ivoire distinguished himself while in active service and has continued to make selfless contributions for peace, unity and the overall development of Benue and Nigeria in general.”
Governor Ortom prayed God Almighty to grant Ambassador Ukume many more years of good health, wisdom and protection.
