Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo has appointed Dr Fashagba Paul Femi as Provost for the College of Education, Ankpa, via a letter dated 27th January, 2025.
The provost who previously worked in the Department of Accountancy, Federal Polytechnic Bida, Niger State was appointed through a letter signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Mrs Folashade Arike Ayoade, stating that the appointment takes effect from 1st March, 2025.
According to the letter which was obtained by CAPITAL POST in Lokoja, the appointment will last for four years in the first instance and could be renewed at the instance of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo after expiration for another term of office.
Part of the letter read: “I have been directed by His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, the Governor of Kogi State to convey to you, your appointment as Provost, College of Education, Ankpa with effect from 1st March, 2025.
Your appointment is for four years in the first instance and renewable at the instance of His Excellency, the Governor of Kogi State.
“Your appointment is based on your wealth of experience and the belief that you shall strive towards the achievement of goals of the College. It is hopened that you shall carry out the policies and decisions that would transform the Institution to the desired pedestal.”
