There is never a simple explanation to the consistent threat of assasination and human right violation of a young Stephen Onuma in his home country.

Change of Name

The world really is full of pain than with compassion. This is the simple conclusion that can suit the present situation of Stephen Onuma.

Onuma is a young Nigerian, born with blue blood and by inheritance and hereditary as the only son of his father. His father clan is the next in line to produce the kingship of his hometown Umuikeogele, in Omoba, LGA- Isiala Ngwa South, in Abia state.

When the King died, it became customary and tradition of the Umukeogele people for the Onuma family, to ascend to the throne but unfortunately Mr Onuma Chukwu, the heir apparent to the throne of his forefathers was assasinated on the 15 Nov 2021 in cold blood.

Till today, the law enforcement agencies have not been able to reach any end as to unravel the masterminds of this heineous crime. But recent occurrences have given the young Stephen Onuma the impression that some members of his extended families who are very wealthy and have indicated serious interest on the Royal throne are hell bent in eliminating his family lineage in order to become the Royal lineage.

The young Stephen has severally escaped their plans to equally eliminate him and this threat became so frequent that he was left with no other option than to flee from his native town to another abode for safety.

The law enforcements officers has not really shown commitment to the protection to the cause of this poor young man. After the elimination of his father it was naturally expected that his protection would be of utmost concern to all and sundry, but this was not the case.

It was reported that recently, his phone was inundated with calls threatening that what befell his father will happen to him if he ever thought of ever showing his face in his community ever again.

This is a very serious case. And since the killing of his father, this young man has been at large.
