NASC Chairman Engr Kadi promises Legislative Aides equal opportunity, improved welfare

The National Assembly Service Commission NASC Chairman, Engineer Ahmed Kadi Amshi has assured the newly inaugurated National Assembly Legislative Aides Forum, NASSLAF, executive forum of synergy between the body, the Commission and the National Assembly, that will guarantee greater output and productivity.

Engineer Ahmed Kadi Amshi dropped this hint during a courtesy call by the new body to familiarise with the Commission and its desire to change the tide of things in the National Assembly.

Change of Name

The Chairman of the Commission congratulated the new leadership while charging them to be alive to their responsibility, and display loyalty to their employers rather than being confrontational.

Engr Kadi appeal to the new body to allow the new Commission and the Clerk to the National Assembly CNA, ample time to settle down, saying all pending issues will be resolved after proper briefing by the stakeholders.

He says the Commission will not compromise hardwork, dedication to duty, dilligence and outstanding performance from the legislative aides, capable of moving both the Commission and the National Assembly to greater heights.

Kadi enjoined the new NASSLAF of the Commission’s intention to ressolve all pending issues, provided there is proper briefing from the Clerk to the National Assembly, so as to resolve any issue arsing from their welfare.

Ealier, the new NASSLAF Chairman, Alhaji Salisu Usman Zuru says the maiden visit was to familiarise with the parent body of the National Assembly and the new Commission.

He commended the new NASC of a well thought out decision, while appealing to the new leadership to wade into many disagreements between the body and the new leadership of the National Assembly under the Clerk to the National Assembly.

He promised to cooperate with the Clerk to the National Assembly, the parent body, the Commission to deliver on their mandate .
