Makinde raising hooligans, thugs in Oyo – APC Chieftain

A stalwart of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Engineer Oyedele Hakeem Alao said that Oyo State governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde has raised hooligans and thugs, saying that the people now live in fear.

He stated that there have been massive resurgence of hooligans, thugs and criminal elements to the extent that the governor has turned the State into a den of criminals.

Alao pointed out that activities of some people of the Park Management Service (PMS) created by Governor Makinde is stoking apprehension in the minds of many residents, saying their mission is purely thuggery.

He explained that his bill boards which were vandalised all over Ibadan metropolis were carried out by thugs and hooligans working for governor Seyi Makinde.

The politician who contested gubernatorial election in 2019 on the platform of Action Alliance before he defected to APC in a statement on Sunday which he made available to journalists, added that the governor also send miscreants working for him to other States.

He described the arrest of some people of PMS who were going to disrupt the first election in Ekiti State as a clear indication that Makinde is encouraging thuggery and hooliganism to thrive in Oyo.

on January 26th arrested some people who were discovered to be staff of Park Management Service at about 3.00am on their way to disrupt the primary election in Ekiti State.

Alao, further stated that Makinde has shirked his accountability because as the Chief Security Officer he no longer take any excessive action to curb the menace of thuggery and hooliganism.

Also in a statement entitled “The re-emergence of hooliganism and thuggery in Oyo State: Time to call Governor Seyi Makinde to order”, stated the peace in the State which became once sustained by the APC administration for eight years has continued to be shattered by Makinde.

“The governor has grown Oyo to become a den of criminals which specialised in exporting thugs and folks of questionable characters”, pointing out that this became once displayed throughout the South West Peoples Democratic Event (PDP) convention held in Osogbo.

“About 98 people of Park Management (PMS), going to Ekiti State for mercenary assignment.

“It is quite heart-broken that Governor Makinde is allowing your entire peace laboured for by your entire stakeholders and enjoyed for eight years below the administration of feeble governor, late Senator Abiola Ajimobi, to hump down the drain.
