Kogi East Senator facilitate donation of drugs, equipment to hospitals

Senator representing Kogi East Senatorial District, Isah Jibrin (Echocho), once again facilitates donation of drugs and hospital equipment to general hospitals across the eastern district through NEMA.

The Federal Lawmaker states that the gesture would mitigate the hardship being faced by the people in the course of seeking medical attention as well as cushion the effect of high cost of drugs.

He enjoins the people to seek medical attention at government hospitals as government was doing its best to ensure that there are availability of drugs for treatment of illnesses.

The statement which was issued by his media aide and sent to CAPITAL POST on Tuesday reads: “The gesture is first, to create conducive working environment for the medical staff, improve their standard of operation and thereby addresses inflated charges at the respective hospitals to affordable level.

“Recall that the Senator has built many healthcare centres at different locations in Kogi East, equiped with state of art materials, to subdue mortality rate especially in rural communities.”
