Kaduna notorious bandits leader, Dogo Gide killed by deputy commander
A notorious bandits leader operating in Kaduna forest, Dogo Gide has been reportedly assassinated by his deputy in an ensuing confusion.
His deputy, Sani Dan Makama reportedly shot him on Sunday at Kuyanbana forest in Kaduna State.
The late gang leader operates in fours States of Zamfara, Niger, Kaduna, Katsina and Kebbi States, where he has been terrorising towns and communities for quite a long time.
A source privy to the forest confirmed on Sunday, saying: “Dogo Gide was killed by his lieutenant called Sani Dan Makama following a small dispute at Kuyanbana Forest linking Zamfara – Birnin Gwari – Dogon Dawa towns.”
CAPITAL POST recalled that activities of bandits in the North Western Nigeria has reached an alarming stage with security agents battling them to no avail.
The effort of security agents was amid suspicion of civil collaborators who passed information to the gangs for monetary interests.
