IAF strikes Hezbollah terrorists moving weapons from facility to truck in south Lebanon
The IDF said it is operating in accordance with the ceasefire understandings between Israel and Lebanon, which was enacted in late November.
The Israel Air Force struck a weapons storage facility, where IDF soldiers identified Hezbollah terrorists moving weapons into a nearby truck in Bani Haiyyan in southern Lebanon on Tuesday, the IDF announced Wednesday morning.
The IDF said it is operating in accordance with the ceasefire understandings between Israel and Lebanon, which was enacted in late November.
Additionally, it said it will “operate against any threat to the State of Israel and its citizens.”
Destroying a concealed weapons storage facility
IDF Golani soldiers and Erez Program troops, under the command of Brigade 769 in the Saluki region of southern Lebanon, located and destroyed a concealed weapons storage facility in southern Lebanon, which contained rocket launchers, missiles, and explosive devices, the IDF announced Tuesday.
In another raid on Hezbollah infrastructure on Tuesday, IDF troops discovered missile launchers, explosive material, dozens of AK-47 rifles, grenades, wire-guided missiles, mines, surveillance equipment, incendiary devices, and tactical combat gear.
