The attack claim was later aired on Channels Television and other national electronic and print media and was also confirmed by the spokesman of the Kaduna State Police Command, Mansir Hassan, in a phone conversation.

The staff complied with security measures as they probably were working from home while digital services were opened to bank customers to transact their businesses from their own end point.
Kaduna State governor, Senator Uba Sani visited the bank at Tudun Wada, as well as the KADIPA and KASTELEA offices after the attack and expressed dismay over the incident.
