Gospel Singer doubled as ‘yahoo boy’ abducted Corp member Ele Ojo, killed her for ritual – Family member
A National Youth Service Corp member, Eleojo who hails from Kogi East Senatorial District, and serving in Nasarawa State was abducted by a gospel singer who doubled as yahoo boy before he killed her for ritual, according explanation by a member of the victim’s family on Monday.
The family gave the clarification against the backdrop of reports on social media that the victim was a girl friend to the killer yahoo boy.
Eleojo who was 22 years serving her NYSC was abducted at Ude, a community in Nasarawa State and gruesomely murdered by the yahoo boy, but when luck ran out of the boy he was caught on site of a an ongoing church building with the victim’s head.
The late corper reportedly left her house in Nyanya on a visit to her boy friend in Karu, a neighbouring community to Nyanya, but never got to her destination. She was later declared missing only to be found killed with her head severed in a body bag by a gospel singer.
The report of being a girl friend to the yahoo boy was seriously rebuffed by the family, describing Eleojo as decent young lady who has ambition for her education.
Meanwhile, the name of the gospel singer has been revealed as Oluwatimileyin Ajayi.
An bike man popularly called okada firstly raised the alarm over the suspicious contents of the bag carried by Oluwatimileyin Ajayi and attracted people to the incident close to an ongoing church building.
When questioned, the singer allegedly confessed that the head belonged to his “girlfriend.”.
A family member revealed that Ele may have been drugged, and that the family is still trying to piece together the events leading up to her tragic death. The perpetrator was later taken back to his home in Orozo, where he had buried Ele’s body. He was subsequently beaten and is currently in a coma.
The family is now waiting anxiously for the singer to regain consciousness, hoping that he will provide more information about the circumstances surrounding Ele’s abduction and murder. As the investigation continues by the Police, the family has appealed to the public to respect their privacy during this difficult time.
