As government officials jubilation and make mockery of the fleeing National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC)  officials,  Kogi has lost the services they would have rendered in testing the people to ascertain their COVID-19 status.
This observation became necessary to detonate the government position to cajole the officials by subjecting them to undue process to quarantine the officials for 14 days.
According to Ahmed Mohammed of Kogi Advancement Group, it behoves on the body to appeal to the Presidential task force and NCDC not to abandon Kogi people amidst insensitive leadership.
According to spokesman, Kogi governor and top officials of his goverrment along with some prominent visitors refused to quarantine themselves, having interacted with late Chief of staff to Mr President,Malam Abba Kyari, but forcing staffers of NCDC who are doing their legitimate jobs to undue process .
He urged stake holders and public spirited entities including the organised private sector to come to the aid of the the people of Kogi State as all facets of their lives have been politicised.
Kogi Advancement Group advised the people of the state to take their personal hygiene and other health requirements against the disease very seriously,as well as observe self isolation, social distancing and wearing of masks as a corrolary
He opined that COVID-19 is real and spreading like wildfire even when the current administration had decided to frustrate the federal government intentions to ensure the state is COVID-19 free through the required process.
He urged the NCDC to jettison the politicisation of their visit and have a rethink in the interest of humanity, saying decadence in governance of Kogi has manifested itself in the current health emergencies prevailing world over.
Ahmed Mohammed urged the federal government to consider citing a world class hospital in the state capital,  Lokoja as gate way between the North and South, East and South West.
