A former Chairman of the National Human Rights Commission, Chidi Odinkalu reacted to the former President Muhammadu Buhari’s claim that he earns money from his property in Kaduna to take care of himself and his family after leaving office.

In a post on his X handle, formerly Twitter, Odinkalu Buhari to desist from lying about his wealth and whip sympathy to himself.

He Buhari was no longer contesting for any political office, hence, he should stop deceiving people about his wealth.
His post on X: “The former president was no longer running for office and should quit deceiving people about his wealth or its source.
The former president even before running for office had said that he only had 150 cows and his family House in Katsina.
In a recent speech this past week, the former president staged that his family only relies on the income from his two rented houses in Kaduna State.
