Echocho flags off grading of Ajakagwu/Okete road in Dekina LGA

Distinguished Senator Isah Jibrin (Echocho), has officially flagged off the grading of Ajakagwu/Okete road in the Dekina local government area of Kogi East.

The project which aims to improve connectivity among the communities in the area will facilitate easier movement for residents and promote trade interactions and enhance commercial activities in Kogi East.

During the flag-off ceremony, His Royal Highness, Alh Usman Obaje, expressed his gratitude to Senator Echocho for his commitment to revitalizing Kogi East. He outlined the importance of the road network in restoring the zone lost glory and emphasized the positive impact it would have on the local populace.

In a statement made available to CAPITAL POST by the Special Assistant on Media to the lawmaker, Mikail Ibrahim on Friday, said, residents of Ajakagwu and Okete trooped out to voice their immense appreciation for the Senator’s intervention, noting that the improved road will significantly alleviate the financial burdens been experienced by the communities.

Senator Echocho is a second timer to the Senate and he is the Senate Committee Chairman
