Buhari sacks NDDC boss, Akwa
The sole administrator of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Mr Effiong Okon Akwa has been sacked by President Muhammadu Buhari.

He got fired through a letter signed by the Director of Press, Ministry of Niger Delta Affairs, Patricia Deworitshe which was sighted by our correspondent on Thursday in Abuja.

According to the letter, Mr Akwa was disengaged with immediate effect.
Meanwhile, the President has approved the constitution of management team and governing board for the Commission.
