BREAKING: Farotimi gets bail, not to grant press interviews

Barrister Dele Farotimi has been granted bail to the tune of N30 million by a magistrates’ court sitting in Ado-Ekiti.

The lawyer and Human Rights Activist was arrested on the order of the Senior Lawyer, Afe Babalola over a book he wrote linking Afe Babalola in judicial corruption.

Change of Name

When Farotimi’s lawyer brought his motion for bail of his client, Magistrate Abayomi Adeosun ruled in his favour, rolling out bail conditions which include, the surrender of his international passport to Court, and two responsible sureties.

The Magistrate ordered that Farotimi should stop granting press interview on the the subject matter.

CAPITAL POST recalled that Afe Babalola through Court order stopped the sales of the book published by the embattled Dele Farotimi, insisting that he is being defamed in the book.
