He died at the age of 97, according to family on Tuesday.

Chief Edwin Clark, who was a former federal Commissioner for Information died on Monday night after a brief illness.
A statement signed by Prof. C. C. Clark, for the family confirmed the death of the elder statesman.

In a statement by Mr. Penawei Clark for the children, read, “The Clark-Fuludu Bekederemo family of Kiagbodo Town, Delta State, wishes to announce the passing away of Chief (Dr.) Sen. Edwin Kiagbodo Clark OFR, CON on Monday 17th February , 2025.
“The family appreciates your prayers at this time.
