Boko Haram terrorists congratulates Shettima, thinks he’s president-elect instead of Tinubu
Boko Haram terrorists in a video that has gone viral congratulated Senator Kashim Shettima as President-elect.
In a misunderstanding that Shettima is a Vice President-elect, the insurgents promised a peaceful co-existence if he keeps promise of introducing Sharia law in the land.
Shettima, a former two term governor of Borno State and an incumbent Senator representing Borno Central Senatorial district was elected Vice President to Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the just concluded presidential election on February 25, 2023.
CAPITAL POST reports that the election results was marred with controversies as opposition parties, particularly Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and Labour Party vowed to challenge the outcome.
The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC has since issued a Certificate of Return to the winner, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and he has so relocated to the Defence House located in Maitama Area of Abuja.
