Bello makes new appointments for State higher institutions
Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello on Tuesday approved the appointment of Dr. Salisu Usman Ogbo as acting Rector of Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja.
Also, Professor Marietu Ohunene Tenuche has also been appointed as the acting Vice Chancellor, Prince Abubakar Audu Unversity, Anyigba.
In a statement by the Secretary to the State Government, Dr. Folashade Arike Arcade in Lokoja on Tuesday, pointed out that both appointments take immediate effect.
Professor Tenuche, two-time Deputy Vice Chancellor of the institution, replaces Professor Mohammed S. Abdulkadir, who has been asked to proceed on terminal leave.
Dr. Usman on the other hand, replaced Professor M.S Atureta, who has been sacked for his non compliance on the state policy of single treasury account (STA).
