The President of the Authentic Nigeria Football and Allied Sports Supporters club, Abayomi Ogunjimi, has expressed shock over the death of Nigeria veteran Sports Journalist, Dapo Sotumini.
Ogunjimi said the sad news of Dapo’s demise is not only a blow to the media Profession but to the entire Sports sector.
Ogunjimi stressed that the late Journalist has been one of the backbones of the Authentic supporters club over the years with his all round Professional support.
“I am still in disbelief about this because Mr Dapo is not just a journalist to me but a big brother who has always been very supportive in everything I do”.
“He was a core Professional in every ramification and a perfect gentle man whose conduct and lifestyle inspired many including myself “.
“The Nigeria Sports sector has just lost a rare gem and I want to join the rest of the Sports family to sympathise with the family at this critical time of grief”.
