Attempted stabbing attack in Jerusalem, terrorist thwarted

A suspected stabbing attack occurred in the Pisgat Ze’ev neighborhood near the Hizma checkpoint north of Jerusalem on Monday, the police said.

According to the initial investigation, the terrorist exited a vehicle and brandished a knife at a passing security officer, the police reported.

Terrorist thwarted
The terrorist was subsequently shot by the security personnel and additional civilians who had arrived on site.
