Abuja Interior and Furniture Virtual Expo declared open

The first Abuja Interior and Furniture Virtual Expo has been declared open on Friday by the Project National Coordinator, Architect Faisal Jafar Rafindadi.

The expo which was put together by professionals in the interior design and furniture industry, in collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade, and Investment was an effort to promote and showcase the latest products, and innovations in the interior design and furniture industry.

According to the National Coordinator, “the virtual expo will provide a unique platform for industry professionals, manufacturers, and artisans to connect, network and explore new possibilities. 

“I would like to express my deepest gratitude to our esteemed guests, exhibitors, and participa who have taken the time to join us for this groundbreaking event.

“Your presence is a testament to the growing importance of this industry in Nigeria. 

“I also want to acknowledge the support and collaboration of the Federal Ministry of Indust Trade, and Investment, without which this event would not have been possible.”

He expressed the belief that the expo would afford opportunity for people to engage with industry experts, see product demonstrations and discover innovate solutions.

Director of Contact and Mobilisation, Dr Kabir Mustapha expressed delight that the expo was able to bring together
industry leaders, innovators, enthusiasts from across Nigeria and beyond to showcase the latest trends, products and services in the interior and furniture sector.

He stressed that the exercise was in line with the federal government’s Renewed Hope agenda to support the digital economy via modern technology, adding that it was the first of its kind in Nigeria, that the expo demonstrates commitment to leveraging technology to drive growth and development.

Commending the Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment, partners, including the Nigerian Association of Engineering Craftsmen and the auspices of the Council of Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria, he stated that the expo would showcase a new direction in furniture industry in Nigeria.
