Breaking: Nasarawa gets first female Chief Judge
Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa state has approved the appointment of Hon. Justice Aisha Bashir Aliyu as first female acting Chief Judge of the state.
Her appointment followed the retirement of Justice Umar Suleiman Dikko who bowed out of service on Thursday, 31st December, 2021.
With the appointment ofJustice Aisha as acting Chief Judge of Nasarawa state, she has now become the first female to break the jink in the judiciary high ranking in the state.
Our correspondent reports that with her appointment, she is now the second female to occupy a sensitive position in Nasarawa State government since its creation.
It would be recalled that Hajiya Zainab Ahmed a female gender served as first female Secretary to government of the State under Umar Al-makura.
