117 Directors jostle for 10 Permsec positions in Nasarawa

About 117 Directors from different agencies in Nasarawa State sat for promotional examination for the position of Permanent Secretaries.
Our findings revealed that out of the total number of the interested candidates who wished to occupy the high position of Permanent Secretaries in the Civil Service, only ten vacancies were available.
CAPITAL POST also reports that the promotion examination was first of its kind since the creation of the state in 1996.
When contacted, the State Head of Civil Service declined comment on the examination process.
“I will not want to talk now because there was a Committee handling the exercises if you want me to say anything wait till the end of it. He said.
Also the Chairman of the Committee, and former Secretary to the government of the State, Mr. John Ogbole refused to comment on the matter.
It observed that many of the candidates were not happy with the way and manner the examination was being handled.
