Awful video of Government Science Secondary School, Kankara in Katsina State who were abducted last Saturday has been released by Boko Haram terrorists and is now going viral.
Leader of the Islamic terrorist group, Abubakar Shekau who operates from Sambisa forest in Borno, Northeast has claimed responsibility for abduction which the governor of Katsina State disputed, saying, it was the local bandits operating from Zamfara and Katsina forests that abducted the school children.
But in a fresh video seen by CAPITAL POST on Thursday, the captured students were seen in large numbers pleading to be rescued.
Many of them looks depressed and chorusly asking government to rescue them.
Abubakar Shekau could be heard in a six minutes and 30 seconds long video directing a teenager to face the camera and speak to government of Nigeria.
It appears from the background that they were in a forest area with dust all over them including those flanked behind a teenager who was tasked to speak.
Gunmen had invaded the school premises last Friday and abducted over 300 students after a gun duel with the police.
The abduction took place some hours after Muhammadu Buhari arrived in Daura, Katsina in the Northeast Nigeria for a week-long private visit.
