“We are aware that Hon. Justice Zakariya Idakwoji was on drugs for ailment we don’t know, and his abduction on Sunday afternoon is a serious concern as to whether he would survive.

“We are appealing for his release. He is a retired civil servant and we wonder if he has anything to offer. They should just release him unconditionally.”

“While travelling from Anyigba to Aloji, he was kidnapped at Okabo in broad day light and this developments among many has left us devastated”, Ojuju Agbadufu said.

“We appeal and enjoin the youths and security forces in the area to move in immediately and rescue Grand quadi and his driver alive.

The group advised security agents to thinker with mopping up arms, saying that political activities has made arms common to Kogi youths, thereby heightening kidnapping, robbery and all forms of evil.

“That arms are in wrong hands in Kogi State is a fact and until this truth is realised and tackled, kidnappings can’t stop.

“Nigeria has best security agents. The Police; the Military; the Civil; the SSS and others. If they want to work, using their expertise, they could fish out these kidnappers lurking in Kogi State, particularly, in the East.”
