The confirmation was in line with traditional ruler’s appreciation on the visit of Osibanjo to the state to Commission Infection Diagnosis and Research Centre in Lafia.
“As council of chiefs, we have resolved to honour you today for your selfless service to the nation.
Responding, to the confirmation on him, Professor Osibanjo described as one thing that he will never forget in a hurry.
“Let me publicly acknowledge and appreciate this honor done to me by His Royal Highnes, Emir of Lafia, Justice Sidi Bage Rtd, when he accorded me with the tittle of Madugun of Nasarawa state, it is a very important title I intend to keep it very serious indeed.
“Infact His Royal Highness has given me a sword; a very sharp and big one which I suppose to use against all the enemies of the state and the country at large.
While Speaking on Nasarawa state infection, diagnosis and research centre, Professor Osibanjo described as a remarkable achievement.
“There is no question at all this kind og achievement in the world deserve celebration.
Professor Osibanjo who didn’t hide his gratitude with the tittle emphasised that it is a kind gesture that will go down hid memory lane.
“There is no question anywhere in the world that this kind of achievement deserve to be celebrated.
In his speech at the occasion of the commissioning of the center, Nasarawa state, Governor Abdullahi Sule has reiterated his administration’s commitment to complete all projects started by previous administration’s in the state.
“We mske a sole commitment to improve better health condition of citizens of the state, therefore, based on this reason we ssnk huge amount of resources towards the completion of Nasarawa Infection diagnosis and research center.
