Buhari reacts ‘angrily’ to Boko Haram killing of farmers in Borno
President Muhammadu Buhari has reacted to the killing of 43 farmers in Zabarmari in Jere Local Government Area, Borno State on Saturday.
In series of tweets by the Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to the President, Garba Shehu, Buhari described the killings as an act of insanity.
The farmers were working on their rice farms when the Islamic terrorist group struck, killing 43 of them in horrendous manner.
While mourning the farmers who were killed, the President said that the military has been given the needed support to tackle insurgency in Nigeria.
