EndSARs: Criminal suit against me, Social Media trends – Tuface
Celebrated Nigerian Singer, Tuface, alias 2baba has described criminal complaint against me in an Abuja Magistrate Court for participating in EndSARS protest as one of those social media trend.
The influencial who didn’t regret for his action said Singer that he has not received any alleged criminal complaint filed against him and 49 others in an Abuja Magistrate Court for their support of the EndSARS protests, saying that he only heard about the case in the media.
His manager, Efe Omorogbe stated this on Tuesday, insisting that it was mere Social the trend.
“There’s no comment yet. We have not been served any paper. We have not received any formal summon. We can’t respond to what is merely trending on social media until we receive a summon we can’t respond, he said.
The suit was filed by activist Kenechukwu Okeke who said that the celebrities who promoted the EndSARS protests should be brought to justice.
According to him, properties were destroyed as a result of the protests which the celebrities promoted.
CAPITAL POST recalled that accounts of identified EndSARS sponsors and promoters were reportedly frozen by the Central Bank of Nigeria, thereby generating controversies.
