Things National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress(APC), Comrade Adams Oshiomhole may have dilemma over unholy alliance with leadership of APC after a Federal High Court in Abuja in a judgement asked him to quit.

Sources quoted the former Edo State governor as being “between the devil and the deep blue sea” if he reneged to honour agreements reached especially with the governors and some forces in the presidency.

The first option of refusal for the incumbent governors of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki and Ondo State, Rotimi Akeredolu may be playing out as a wrong signal which may spark crisis any moment from now.

It was further said that Comrade Oshiomhole may have actually promised some party stalwarts the “carrot” as a deceit to get back to the driver’s seat but never meant his words.

The development seems to be fighting back as on one side, the governors want him to keep his promise, while on the other hand, Oshiomhole cannot go to Benin to tell his followers that Governor Obaseki who pulled down their houses is the one to support.

“You can see that Oshiomhole is between the devil and the deep blue sea.

“He is in a dilemma, he will be worst humiliated if he goes to Edo to tell people to support Obaseki.

“The best option is that if he cannot pacify the governors to accept the reality that all candidates must go to the primaries, it is better he throws in the towel”, a party bigwig remarked.

We gathered that Oshiomhole will never be forgiven by the numerous members of APC in Edo who fought alongside with him when the quagmire with Obaseki was fierce.

He said that Edo State will not be a safe place for the Etsako man whose political career would end abruptly.

“Oshiomhole will be forced to resign from all indications except he does the needful by being neutral”, the source disclosed.

CAPITAL POST was further hinted that Oshiomhole is afraid of a possible gang up of the powerful opponents of Obaseki, former Edo deputy governor, Dr. Pius Odubu; former Edo SSG, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu; Engr. Chris Ogiemwonyi and Gen. Charles Airiavbere against him.
