How Shehu Sani rescue two ladies mistaken as EndSARS protesters in Abuja
Former Senator representing Kaduna Central Senatorial district, Shehu Sani has revealed how two ladies, Precious, 19, an indigene of Kogi State and Precious Shuaibu, 20 (female) from Kaduna State were rescued from the hands of Police officers on Tuesday.
Narrating the ordeal of the two ladies to our reporter in Abuja, Sani said the rescued ladies were passing through Wuse 2, venue of EndSARS protests, but were mistaken as protesters making Police officers pursuing them while firing gunshots into the air.
He said: “This afternoon around 2.pm, Policemen and plain clothes operatives stormed the gathering of EndSARS protesters around Aminu Kano Crescent, Banex Area firing gunshots to disperse protesters, but in the ensuing milee, about five persons were killed.
“While security operatives pursued the fleeing protesters, two girls, who laterniden Precious 19 from Kogi state and Precious Shuaibu 20 from Kaduna State, were standing by the road sides were mistaken for protesters.
“They were chased by the security operatives pointing gun at them.
The girls were immediately picked by a woman driving a car. The operatives kept chasing the car. The woman quickly ordered them out and she sped OFF, luckily and unknowingly they were close to my Wuse residence, while I immediately ordered that they be allowed in and they were saved.
