EndSARS protesters launch online radio, helpline
The EndSARS protesters took a surprise dimension on Sunday as it launches its online radio tagged, ‘soro soke’, a Yoruba word meaning speak out.
The helpline number released to the public is 01 700 1755.
“For the users, these are the prompt numbers: Press 1 for medical. Press 2 for legal. Press 3 for food and supplies. Press 4, 5, or 6 for mental health emergencies,” @fkabudu tweeted.
According to the protesters, its online radio platform, and helpline would help in effective coordination of its activities.
The online radio, which is accessible via https://s4.radio.co/s99d55c85b/listen, has programmes and live reports of missing and found #EndSARS protesters, and other updates on the protests across the country.
Confirming the functioning of the online radio, one could heard music emphasizing the need to speak out and for their voices to be heard as well as the need for.reforms to be carried out in Nigeria.
EndSARS protest continue to gain global attention with prominent people throwing their weights behind them.
Prominent among those who showed support is the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Enoch Adeboye, publisher of Ovations Dele Momodu and former Minister for Education, Oby Ezekwesili and others.
