Education: Nasarawa governor, Sule releases funds for SUBEB

In his concerted effort to provide quality education to all, Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State has redeemed his promise by releasing funds to the State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB).
“It is our desire as government to ensure full implementation of Universal Basic Education Programme by massive construction and renovation of blocks of classrooms as well as perimeter fencing”, he said.
“Others include drainages, boreholes, toilets, supply of furnitures and geophysical survey boreholes in primary schools across the state.”
This was disclosed by the, State Executive Chairman of SUBEB, Universal, Muhammad Musa Dan’azimi in Lafia on Wednesday.
The SUBEB Chairman described Governor Sule as humane even at this particular special time.
“With the development now, we have concluded all arrangement for the award of contract of projects through the open competitive bidding system.
The SUBEB, pointed out that, Sule has demonstrated a genuine commitment towards upliftment of the education sector of the state.
He called on community leaders to see government projects as their personal ones, just as he charged them to ensure adequete maintenance of projects sited in their domain.
