#OndoDecides2020: INEC boat capsizes, ad hoc staff rescued

Tragedy was averted as speed boat conveying Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, ad-hoc staff to their polling unit reportedly capsized at Ilaje area of Ondo State.

Materials and all passengers on board were however rescued.

Ondo State Police Public Relations Ofdicwe, Tee Leo Ikoro confirmed the incident, but said it’s a minor one.

Ikoro explained that “All the electoral materials and INEC officials were rescued. It happened in Ilaje area of Ondo State. The minor accident has no impact on the election.
