Faisal: Forum lauds President Buhari for reappointment

The forum of Chief Executive officers of States Primary Health Care Development Agencies have commended President Muhammadu Buhari for the reappointment of Dr. Faisal Shuaib as the Executive Director National Primary Health Care Development Agency, NAPHCDA, to pilot the affairs of the agency for a second term.
A press statement signed by the forum chairman, Dr. Usman Adis a copy of which made available to CAPITAL POST described the re-appointment of the agency boss as a welcome one considering his track records in his last tenure in office.
“We are not surprised with his re-appointment if one traced his track record in fight against deadly Ebola outbreak, eradication of wild polio virus from Nigeria and prevention of community transmissions of COVID-19 pandemic in our country. The statement noted.
“Your effort in moving the agenda of president Buhari forward which is based on a sound, efficient and productive health system for Nigerians at the grassroots’.
“It is no gain saying that the achievements recorded so far at primary health care reflect the
vision for the country, adding as custodian of primary health care in the country he rescued the
system from the brink of collapse and hopelessness.
“Your ‘uncommon credibility and integrity has helped in no small
measure and assisted the health system at the grass root becomes a rallying point for the less privileged.
According to the forum the commitments exibited by, Dr. Faisal in carrying out the much-needed cleansing and reforms in primary health care has brought hope and life to the health care deserved standing ovetion, just they vow to assist him to overcome all the challenges in ensuring more success in your second term of office.
