NASC confirms appointment of Ojo as CNA, 14 others [See list]
The National Assembly Service Commission (NASC) has confirmed the appointment of Clerk to the National Assembly, Architect Amos Ojo Olatunde who was appointed in acting capacity since 17th July, 2020.
The decision was reached after its 506th meeting of the Commission by the Chairman, Engineer Ahmed Kadi Amshi.
In similar vein, the appointment of new Clerk to the House of Representatives, Francis Chimezie Akubueze, has been ratified to take effect from November 25th, after the expiration of the tenure of the current Clerk, Patrick Giwa.
In a statement which was obtained by CAPITAL POST early Saturday indicated that other Management staff whose appointments were confirmed by the Commission are:
Bala Mohammed Yabani, [Deputy Clerk, National Assembly],
Dauda Ibrahim El-Ladan, [Clerk Senate], Yusuf Asir Dambatta [Secretary to the Commission], Orunwase Felix Osaze [Secretary, Human Resources and Staff Development],
Others are Ademola Adebanjo [Secretary, Legal Services], Ramatu Ahmed [Secretary, Research and Information], Bashir Hamza, Secretary [Health Services], Sani Magaji Tambuwal [Secretary, Finance and Accounts], Aimua Ehikioya Henrietta [Secretary, Special Duties].
Also appointed are Engr. Liman Baba Sanda [Secretary, Procurement, Estate and Works], Oladoyin Suraj Abiodun [Secretary, Inter-Parliamentary and Protocol], Iloba Isabella Ugochi [Deputy Clerk, Senate, (Legislative), Navati Illiya [Deputy Clerk, Senate, Admin], while Danzariya Yahaya Hamidu becomes Deputy Clerk, House of Representatives.
It is recalled that Architect Amos Ojo took over from the erstwhile Clerk to the National Assembly, Sani Ataba Omolori in a controversial circumstances that bother on tenure of office.
