NCPC promises collaboration with NANS

The Executive Secretary of the Nigeria Christian Pilgrim Commission, Rev. Yakubu Pam has said that his administration would collaborate with the National Association of Nigeria Students (NANS) in any way to ensure that the Association go a long way. He disclosed this while playing host to the National Association of the Nigerian Students of Ahmadu Bello University chapter, Zaria in his office, recently.

He appreciated them for the good works in ensuring that they identify with great leaders both Muslims and Christians to celebrate with them.

Change of Name

According to him,“this is what we need in this country for Muslims coming to Christians leaders to appreciate their good works”, he added that “this shows that the future is bright”.

He explained that ABU is one of the institutions in Nigeria that is well respected globally. In his words, “sixty percent of the development we see today in Nigeria comes from the great leaders that have passed through ABU”, adding that “Knowledge is power, Knowledge gives light to the future”.

Rev. Pam thanked them for finding him worthy for an award. In his words, “I am honored that you singled me out to give this award to me”.

He assured them that he would continue to do his best to be a role model worthy of emulation. In his words, “from today if I do something that is not in accordance with this award please draw my attention”.

Earlier, the Chairman of National Association of Nigeria Students, ABU chapter, Comrade Jabi Maiturare thanked the Executive Secretary, Rev Yakubu Pam for giving them audience to tap from his wealth of wisdom. According to him,“we believe that you are a blessing to Nigeria and we are here to tap from your words of wisdom”.

He also appreciated the Executive Secretary for his calm nature and style of leadership. In his words, “we want to follow your style of leadership”.

He called on the Management of the Commission to support the Executive Secretary’s administration, According to him, “it is important to support the Executive Secretary because whatever he achieves is the achievements of the Commission”.
