Electricity: Air Force commends Jos Discos for quality supply

The Nigerian Air Force has commended the Management of Jos Electricity Distribution PLC for qualitative Supply of energy to her Customers.

The Commander, Nigerian Air Force Base, Jos, Plateau State, Group Captain S.A. Buhari, made the commendation in Jos when he paid a courtesy call on the Manager, Bukuru Region, Olaniyi Ogunmakinwa.

Group Captain Buhari who was elated by the quality of Supply to his formation said, “you have done very well in terms of Supply”, stressing,”We are here to appreciate JED PLC for outstanding electricity Supply to our facilities”.

Group Captain Buhari who was just about two weeks in Plateau State since his assumption of duty said the visit was to foster harmonious relationship between his formation and the civil society.

In his remarks, the Regional Manager, Engr Ogunmakinwa who commended the Commander and his team for the noble visit explained the operationalities of the energy sector to them.

Ogunmakinwa who promised to continue with the qualitative Supply to the Air Force and her other Customers said because of the peculiarities of the challenges bedeviling the company Chief amongst them was huge indebtedness of Customers to the organization.

He called on the formation to endeavour to clear their outstanding debt to enable the company to meet its Market obligation to the value chains.

He however promised to do everything possible within his powers to ensure that the military formation and other Customers are promptly attended to if the need arises.

He admonished them to adopt payment strategy of paying for their monthly energy consumption in full while settling their previous debts in piece meal.
