NCPC boss advocates unity of Christians in order to hear from God
The Executive Secretary of the Nigeria Christian Pilgrim Commission, Rev. Yakubu Pam has said that if Christians could come together, there would be unity in the church.
He made this known recently in Abuja while receiving in audience executive members of the Abuja Archdiocesan Laity Council who paid him a congratulatory visit at NCPC corporate headquarters.
He posited that if Christians come together, they would clearly begin to hear from God.
The NCPC boss stated that the unity of the church would begin from the laity, stressing that the Laity are the engine house of the Church.
The NCPC chief executive told his guests that what they had done by their visit was a signal to all the churches that they need to come together as one. According to him, “your coming is very unique.,he stressed.
Speaking earlier, the President of the Abuja Archdiocesan Laity Council, Sir Charles Uwonwa thanked God on behalf of his Executive members for the honour done to the NCPC boss for his well deserved appointment and for finding him worthy to occupy the exalted office.
According to him, “As the landlord it is wise to come and say congratulations to you.”
He further stressed that they were spiritually and physically ready in Abuja to partner with the Executive Secretary to chart a new course for the Commission.
