Remedy Foundation offers free eye ailment treatment in Nasarawa

Remedy Foundation, a non-governmental organisation of Blindness control project, has commenced treatment eye related ailment in Nasarawa State.
The director and founder of Remedy Foundation, Dr. Abdulmutalib Mohammed told CAPITAL POST at one of the operation centers that the foundation was established with the aim of assisting those that have eye problems.
“We offer care of total blindness, partial blindness, loss of sight and inability to read.
“Other services include short or long sightedness, eyes scratching, itching of eyes and all double vision. He added.
Dr. Mohammed gave reason, himself and his team were in Nasarawa State, saying, “we are in the State to assist those who doesn’t have the means to visit hospital for eyes surgery.
While traced the history of the foundation, Dr. Mohammed stated that the project was initiated with its headquarters in Birnin Kudu, Jigawa state, with the objective to render service to the masses who can’t afford bills in hospital.
“I was a contract officer in Jigawa State and I started in 2013, during the period of the former Governor, Alhaji Sule Lamido who use to engage us in the treatment of curing people living with various eyes problem”, he explained.
Speaking with some of the beneficiaries, they thanked the foundation for coming to their aid.
Among them is a traditional title holder, Mohammed Ladi Jibrin Galadiman Lafia expressed satisfaction with the medication received so far.
Also Hajiya Fati Yahaya Sabo shared her own experience, saying that before now, she was totally blinded but since she attended the foundation center now her eyes are seeing clearly.
On his part, Musa Aliyu Jaji described the foundation as, God sent to humanity shower praises to the founder.
