Senior staff promotion exam: NCPC boss assures of better treatment, says as father, he wouldn’t want failure
The Executive Secretary of the Nigeria Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC) Rev. Yakubu Pam has said that no father would like to see his child fail in any examination. He made this assertion in Abuja while inspecting the promotion examination of Senior Staff of the Commission at the NCPC Corporate Headquarters in Abuja.
He advised them to relax their minds and concentrate on the examination because as the Executive Secretary, he would want to see all of them pass in flying colours and be promoted to their next grade levels. He posited that “no father will like to see his or her child fail in any examination”.
The NCPC Chief Executive further stressed that promotion examination should be a good experience for those participating and should not be a do or die affair.
According to him, “I know you will not fail, you will go higher and higher and you will live in good health to enjoy the work of your hands”. He urged them to always trust in the Lord because by strength shall no man prevail.
This was the first promotion examination to be conducted under the watchful eyes of the Executive Secretary since assumption of office on 7th July, 2020.
The promotion examination was supervised by the Directors of the Commission and Directors from the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation as well as the Office of the Head of Civil Service of the Federation.
About thirty six senior officers sat for the promotion examination which was conducted in strict compliance with the COVID 19 NCDC protocol.
