FCT Minister Commissions Yangoji – Sukuku – Ebo Road, accepts requests for new bridge.

FCT Minister, Bar. Ezenwo Nyesom Wike has commissioned yet another 11 km Yangoji – Sukuku – Ebo road in Kwali area Council in twilight of two todays in FCT Council Areas.
Bar. Ezenwo Nyesom Wike who acknowledged the support of the people of Kwali Council Area for President Bola Tinubu administration, justified the road need of the area, promising to do more for the people.
Wike said, “Mr ALGON Chairman, because you have led your people well, because you have supported this administration, because your people are happy with you, their bridge request will be done.
We have promised of building additional police station for you, that is ongoing”.
The minister while commending the contractor, Gilmore Construction Ltd for steadfastness, quality job and renovation of Yangoji primary school, challenged other contractors to emulate Gilmore limited.
Minister of State for FCT, Hajiya Maryam Mahmud in her vote of thank, commended the support of the people of Kwali Council Area for President Bola Tinubu’s re-new Hope Agenda, she felt proud to be part of in the development of FCT Satellitea Areas.
She noted that the road been commissioned, will enhance connectivity, ignite opportunity for commercial activities, improve access to education and health care services in Kwali and adjoining areas
Earlier, the Coordinator of STDD, Abdulkadir Zulkifil who recalled the processes of award and execution of the project, praised the determination of the minister for satellite transformation, and so outlined the benefits of bridging the gaps of infrastructure in Kwali and other areas they projects are being commissioned.
The Chairman of Kwali Council Area, Hon. Danladi Chiya and his people who felt elated for the road infrastructure and indeed, the renovated primary school in Yangoji, applauded the FCT Minister for a job well done.
“FCT Minister, you have lifted the network of Kwali Area Council by this road, as it will lead to Yebu, Kweta, Sabo and Kuje Council Area”
The host chairman however, without mincing words, smartly requested for the construction of a new bridge critical to the need of the area adding, “there is just one bridge, Egwa bridge, if you can do it for me, I will not ask for any other road” which the minister later gave approval.
