Anambra man suspects wife of infidelity sets her ablaze

A middle aged man in Abagana, Njikoka Local Government Council of Anambra State in the South Eastern Nigeria has suspected his wife of infidelity and in the course of altercation on Tuesday set her ablaze.

The woman identified as Mrs Chioma Nwanna could be seen agony of pain in a viral video cursing her husband before she eventually passed away.0

A resident of Abagana said, the husband accused his late wife of flirting around with men which degenerated into sharp argument before the man reportedly pour fuel and set her ablaze.

CAPITAL POST learnt that the woman sustained serious burns was rushed to hospital for treatment, but could not survive.

The Police Public Relations Officer in Anambra State, SP Tochukwu Ikenga confirmed the incident and revealed that the husband has been arrested by the Police.

Ikenga said, the Commissioner of Police has ordered immediate investigation into the matter.
