Yandaki said” their hearts, once beating with hopes and dreams, now lie still, but their legacy resonates in our hearts. As we celebrate them every year, the rural populace remembers them with every passing second, minute, minute, hour, day and night. They were instrumental to the domestic peace we are enjoying despite obvious security challenges, it is important to honour them and ask Allah to accept their shortcomings”.
While praying that the memory of sacrifice and costly price paid by the fallen heroes inspires Nigerians to cherish the relative freedom and peace being enjoyed and agony of their families, Engr. Yandaki reinstated that the sacrifice of the fallen heroes is a stack reminder of the price of peace and value of courage.
ALGON President therefore lauded the bravery and selfless devotion of the fallen heroes to the Nigerian project, a lesson for rural dwellers to stand together in honouring them and their widows by promoting peaceful co-existence and an indivisible Nigeria.
